Dashielle Horn

Dashielle received her M.A. from Lehigh in 2012 after graduating from Salisbury University with a B.A. in English and History in 2010. Her main love being Jane Austen, her M.A. thesis was titled “An Early Loss of Bloom:  Spinsters, Old Maids, and the Marriage Market in Persuasion." She has continued studying representations of singleness in the eighteenth century while writing her dissertation. Her broader interests include the eighteenth century novel, women’s writing, and the Romantic era.
