Kathleen Hurlock

Kathleen Hurlock graduated summa cum laude from Mary Baldwin University in 2015 with a BA in English and a minor in Women's Studies. In addition to pursuing her MA in English, she is also working towards a graduate certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her interests include 18th and 19th century female novelists (particularly Austen), epistolary novels, fallen woman narratives, and exploring women's writing in general as a unique literary tradition. More specifically to women and gender studies, she is interested in revisiting second wave radical texts, intra-movement politics, and the rise of marketplace feminism.
